Surah Ash-Shams (undefined) is the 91th chapter of the Holy Quran. It was revealed in Mecca and contains 15 verses (ayahs). Read it below with the Arabic text, transliteration, and Chinese translation, or open it as interactive flashcards to memorize it verse by verse.
- 91:1
وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا
Wash shamsi wa duhaa haa
以太阳及其光辉发誓,
- 91:2
وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا
Wal qamari izaa talaa haa
以追随太阳时的月亮发誓,
- 91:3
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا
Wannahaari izaa jallaa haa
以揭示太阳时的白昼发誓,
- 91:4
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَا
Wallaili izaa yaghshaa haa
以笼罩太阳时的黑夜发誓,
- 91:5
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا
Wassamaaa'i wa maa banaahaa
以苍穹及其建筑者发誓,
- 91:6
وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا
Wal ardi wa maa tahaahaa
以大地及其铺展者发誓,
- 91:7
وَنَفْسٍۢ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا
Wa nafsinw wa maa sawwaahaa
以灵魂及使它均衡,
- 91:8
فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا
Fa-alhamahaa fujoorahaa wa taqwaahaa
并启示他善恶者发誓,
- 91:9
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا
Qad aflaha man zakkaahaa
凡培养自己的性灵者,必定成功;
- 91:10
وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا
Wa qad khaaba man dassaahaa
凡戕害自己的性灵者,必定失败。
- 91:11
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَىٰهَآ
Kazzabat Samoodu bi taghwaahaaa
赛莫德人已因过分而否认真理。
- 91:12
إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشْقَىٰهَا
Izim ba'asa ashqaahaa
当时,他们中最薄命者忙上前来,
- 91:13
فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقْيَٰهَا
Faqaala lahum Rasoolul laahi naaqatal laahi wa suqiyaahaa
使者就对他们说:你们让真主的母驼自由饮水吧。
- 91:14
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّىٰهَا
Fakazzaboohu fa'aqaroohaa fadamdama 'alaihim Rabbuhum bizambihim fasaw waahaa
但他们否认使者而宰杀母驼,故他们的主因他们的罪过而毁灭他们,使他们普遍受难。
- 91:15
وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَٰهَا
Wa laa yakhaafu'uqbaahaa
他是不顾虑那灾难的後果的。
About Surah Ash-Shams
Ash-Shams, the Sun, opens with a series of oaths by the sun, the moon, the day, and the night, building to the central truth: that the one who purifies his soul succeeds, and the one who corrupts it fails. It recalls the people of Thamud who killed the she-camel and met their ruin.
