Surah Al-Layl (undefined) is the 92th chapter of the Holy Quran. It was revealed in Mecca and contains 21 verses (ayahs). Read it below with the Arabic text, transliteration, and Chinese translation, or open it as interactive flashcards to memorize it verse by verse.
- 92:1
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ
Wallaili izaa yaghshaa
以笼罩时的黑夜发誓,
- 92:2
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
Wannahaari izaa tajalla
以显著时的白昼发誓,
- 92:3
وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ
Wa maa khalaqaz zakara wal unthaa
以创造男性和女性的主发誓,
- 92:4
إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ
Inna sa'yakum lashattaa
你们的行为,确是不同的。
- 92:5
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ
Fa ammaa man a'taa wattaqaa
至於赈济贫民,敬畏真主,
- 92:6
وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
Wa saddaqa bil husnaa
且承认至善者,
- 92:7
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
Fasanu yassiruhoo lilyusraa
我将使他易於达到最易的结局。
- 92:8
وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ
Wa ammaa mam bakhila wastaghnaa
至於吝惜钱财,自谓无求,
- 92:9
وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
Wa kazzaba bil husnaa
且否认至善者,
- 92:10
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ
Fasanu yassiruhoo lil'usraa
我将使他易於达到最难的结局。
- 92:11
وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ
Wa maa yughnee 'anhu maaluhooo izaa taraddaa
当他沦亡的时候,他的财产於他有什麽裨益呢!
- 92:12
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ
Inna 'alainaa lal hudaa
我确有指导的责任,
- 92:13
وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْءَاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ
Wa inna lanaa lal Aakhirata wal oolaa
我确有後世和今世的主权。
- 92:14
فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًۭا تَلَظَّىٰ
Fa anzartukum naaran talazzaa
故我警告你们一种发焰的火,
- 92:15
لَا يَصْلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْأَشْقَى
Laa yaslaahaaa illal ashqaa
唯薄命者坠入其中,
- 92:16
ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
Allazee kazzaba wa tawallaa
他否认真理,而背弃之。
- 92:17
وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَى
Wa sa yujannnabuhal atqaa
敬畏者,得免於火刑。
- 92:18
ٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ
Allazee yu'tee maalahoo yatazakkaa
他虔诚地施舍他的财产,
- 92:19
وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍۢ تُجْزَىٰٓ
Wa maa li ahadin 'indahoo min ni'matin tujzaaa
他没有受过任何人的应报的恩德,
- 92:20
إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
Illab tighaaa'a wajhi rabbihil a 'laa
但他施舍只是为了求他的至尊主的喜悦,
- 92:21
وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ
Wa lasawfa yardaa
他自己将来必定喜悦。
About Surah Al-Layl
Al-Layl, the Night, contrasts two kinds of people: the one who gives, is mindful of Allah, and believes in goodness, and the one who is stingy and turns away. It promises ease to the first and hardship to the second, teaching that our choices shape the path that opens before us.
