  1. 102:1

    أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ

    Al haaku mut takathur

    Alfahari da yawan dũkiya da dangi ya shagaltar da ku (dagaibada mai amfaninku).

  2. 102:2

    حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ

    Hatta zurtumul-maqaabir

    Har kuka ziyarci kaburbura.

  3. 102:3

    كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

    Kalla sawfa ta'lamoon

    A'aha! (Nan gaba) zã ku sani.

  4. 102:4

    ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

    Thumma kalla sawfa ta'lamoon

    Sa'an nan, tabbas, zã ku sani.

  5. 102:5

    كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ

    Kalla law ta'lamoona 'ilmal yaqeen

    Haƙĩƙa, da kuna da sani sani na yaƙĩni.

  6. 102:6

    لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ

    Latara-wun nal jaheem

    Lalle ne da kuna ganin Jahĩm.

  7. 102:7

    ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ

    Thumma latara wunnaha 'ainal yaqeen

    Sa'an nan lalle ne za ku gan ta, da idanu, bayyane.

  8. 102:8

    ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

    Thumma latus alunna yauma-izin 'anin na'eem

    Sa'an nan lalle ne za a tambaye ku, a rãnar nan lãbãrin ni'imar (da aka yi muku).

About Surah At-Takathur

At-Takathur, the Rivalry, warns against being consumed by piling up wealth and competing in worldly gain until the grave. It states plainly that people will be questioned about the blessings they enjoyed, and reminds them that if they truly knew the reality of the Hereafter, they would not be so distracted.
