- 111:1
تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍۢ وَتَبَّ
Tab bat yadaa abee Lahabinw-wa tabb
Да пропадут пропадом руки Абу Лахаба, и сам он пропал.
- 111:2
مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Maa aghna 'anhu maaluhu wa ma kasab
Не спасло его богатство и то, что он приобрел (положение в обществе и дети).
- 111:3
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًۭا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍۢ
Sa yas laa naran zaata lahab
Он попадет в пламенный Огонь.
- 111:4
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
Wam ra-atuh hamma latal-hatab
Жена его будет носить дрова,
- 111:5
فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌۭ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
Fee jeediha hab lum mim-masad
а на шее у нее будет плетеная веревка из пальмовых волокон.
About Surah Al-Masad
Al-Masad, the Palm Fiber, addresses Abu Lahab, an uncle of the Prophet (peace be upon him) who openly opposed him, and makes clear that his wealth and status would not save him. It stands as a reminder that hostility to the truth, however powerful, comes to nothing before Allah.
