About Surah At-Tin

At-Tin, the Fig, swears by the fig, the olive, and the sacred places, then states that the human being was created in the best of forms. It warns that those who reject faith and good deeds sink to the lowest, while the believers who do good have a reward without end. It is a short reflection on human dignity and choice.

95:1
بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ
Wat teeni waz zaitoon
அத்தியின் மீதும், ஒலிவத்தின் (ஜைத்தூன்) மீதும் சத்தியமாக-
95:2
وَطُورِ سِينِينَ
Wa toori sineen
'ஸினாய்' மலையின் மீதும் சத்தியமாக-
95:3
وَهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ
Wa haazal balad-il ameen
மேலும் அபயமளிக்கும் இந்த (மக்கமா) நகரத்தின் மீதும் சத்தியமாக-
95:4
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍۢ
Laqad khalaqnal insaana fee ahsani taqweem
திடமாக, நாம் மனிதனை மிகவும் அழகிய அமைப்பில் படைத்தோம்.
95:5
ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ
Thumma ra dad naahu asfala saafileen
பின்னர் (அவன் செயல்களின் காரணமாக) அவனைத் தாழ்ந்தவர்களில், மிக்க தாழ்ந்தவனாக்கினோம்.
95:6
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۢ
Ill-lal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati; falahum ajrun ghairu mamnoon
எவர்கள் ஈமான் கொண்டு ஸாலிஹான (நல்ல) அமல்கள் செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்களைத் தவிர - (நல்லவர்களான) அவர்களுக்கு என்றும் முடிவில்லாத நற்கூலியுண்டு.
95:7
فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ
Fama yu kaz zibuka b'adu bid deen
எனவே (இதற்குப்) பின்னர், நியாயத் தீர்ப்பு நாளைப்பற்றி உம்மிடம் எது பொய்யாக்க முடியும்?
95:8
أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ
Alai sal laahu bi-ahkamil haakimeen
அல்லாஹ் தீர்ப்புச் செய்வோரில் எல்லாம் மிக மேலாகத் தீர்ப்புச் செய்பவனில்லையா?
