  1. 95:1

    بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ

    Wat teeni waz zaitoon

    Par le figuier et l'olivier!

  2. 95:2

    وَطُورِ سِينِينَ

    Wa toori sineen

    Et par le Mont Sînîn!

  3. 95:3

    وَهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ

    Wa haazal balad-il ameen

    Et par cette Cité sûre!

  4. 95:4

    لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍۢ

    Laqad khalaqnal insaana fee ahsani taqweem

    Nous avons certes créé l'homme dans la forme la plus parfaite.

  5. 95:5

    ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ

    Thumma ra dad naahu asfala saafileen

    Ensuite, Nous l'avons ramené au niveau le plus bas,

  6. 95:6

    إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۢ

    Ill-lal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati; falahum ajrun ghairu mamnoon

    sauf ceux qui croient et accomplissent les bonnes œuvres: ceux-là auront une récompense jamais interrompue.

  7. 95:7

    فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ

    Fama yu kaz zibuka b'adu bid deen

    Après cela, qu'est-ce qui te fait traiter la rétribution de mensonge?

  8. 95:8

    أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ

    Alai sal laahu bi-ahkamil haakimeen

    Allah n'est-Il pas le plus sage des Juges?

About Surah At-Tin

At-Tin, the Fig, swears by the fig, the olive, and the sacred places, then states that the human being was created in the best of forms. It warns that those who reject faith and good deeds sink to the lowest, while the believers who do good have a reward without end. It is a short reflection on human dignity and choice.
