  1. 107:1

    أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ

    Ara-aital lazee yu kazzibu bid deen

    Je! Umemwona anaye kadhibisha Malipo?

  2. 107:2

    فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ

    Fa zaalikal lazi yadu'ul-yateem

    Huyo ndiye anaye msukuma yatima,

  3. 107:3

    وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ

    Wa la ya huddu 'alaa ta'amil miskeen

    Wala hahimizi kumlisha masikini.

  4. 107:4

    فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ

    Fa wai lul-lil mu salleen

    Basi, ole wao wanao sali,

  5. 107:5

    ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ

    Al lazeena hum 'an salaatihim sahoon

    Ambao wanapuuza Sala zao;

  6. 107:6

    ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ

    Al lazeena hum yuraa-oon

    Ambao wanajionyesha,

  7. 107:7

    وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ

    Wa yamna'oonal ma'oon

    Nao huku wanazuia msaada.

About Surah Al-Ma'un

Al-Ma'un, the Small Kindnesses, exposes those whose religion is only show. It describes the one who repels the orphan and does not encourage feeding the poor, and warns those who pray for display while neglecting its meaning and withholding even simple acts of kindness.
