- 107:1
أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ
Ara-aital lazee yu kazzibu bid deen
آيا كسى را كه [روز] جزا را دروغ مىخواند، ديدى؟
- 107:2
فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ
Fa zaalikal lazi yadu'ul-yateem
اين همان كس است كه يتيم را بسختى مىراند،
- 107:3
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ
Wa la ya huddu 'alaa ta'amil miskeen
و به خوراكدادن بينوا ترغيب نمىكند.
- 107:4
فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ
Fa wai lul-lil mu salleen
پس واى بر نمازگزارانى
- 107:5
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ
Al lazeena hum 'an salaatihim sahoon
كه از نمازشان غافلند،
- 107:6
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ
Al lazeena hum yuraa-oon
آنان كه ريا مىكنند،
- 107:7
وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ
Wa yamna'oonal ma'oon
و از [دادن] زكات [و وسايل و مايحتاج خانه] خوددارى مىورزند.
About Surah Al-Ma'un
Al-Ma'un, the Small Kindnesses, exposes those whose religion is only show. It describes the one who repels the orphan and does not encourage feeding the poor, and warns those who pray for display while neglecting its meaning and withholding even simple acts of kindness. It ties true faith to how we treat others.
