    About Surah At-Takwir

At-Takwir, the Overthrowing, describes the unraveling of the world at the end of time: the sun folded up, the stars falling, the seas set ablaze. It then affirms that the Quran is the word brought by a noble messenger, and that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was no madman but a true guide.

    5. 81:5

      Wa izal wuhooshu hushirat

    6. 81:6

      Wa izal bihaaru sujjirat

      Wa izan nufoosu zuwwijat

      'Alimat nafsum maaa ahdarat

      Falaaa uqsimu bil khunnas

Non!... Je jure par les planètes qui gravitent

    16. 81:16

      Al jawaaril kunnas

    19. 81:19

      Innahoo laqawlu rasoolin kareem

Zee quwwatin 'inda zil 'arshi makeen

      Mutaa'in samma ameen

obéi, là-haut, et digne de confiance.

    22. 81:22

      وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجْنُونٍۢ

      Wa maa saahibukum bimajnoon

      Votre compagnon (Muhammad) n'est nullement fou;

    23. 81:23

      وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ بِٱلْأُفُقِ ٱلْمُبِينِ

    26. 81:26

      Fa ayna tazhaboon

      Où allez-vous donc?

    27. 81:27

      In huwa illaa zikrul lil'aalameen

      Mais vous ne pouvez vouloir, que si Allah veut, [Lui], le Seigneur de l'Univers ;
