- 99:1
إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا
Izaa zul zilatil ardu zil zaalaha
Marka DHulka la gilgilo.
- 99:2
وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا
Wa akh rajatil ardu athqaalaha
Dhulkuna soo bixiyo culaykiisii (wixii ku aasnaa).
- 99:3
وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا
Wa qaalal insaanu ma laha
Dadkuna (Gaaladuna) dhahaan maxay leedahay.
- 99:4
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا
Yawmaa izin tuhad dithu akhbaaraha
Maalintaas waxay ka sheekayn warkeeda.
- 99:5
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا
Bi-anna rabbaka awhaa laha
Maxaayeelay Eebaa u waxyooday.
- 99:6
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًۭا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
Yawma iziy yas durun naasu ash tatal liyuraw a'maalahum
Maalintaas Dadku way soo bixi iyagoo kala tagsan (xagga Diinta iyo Camalkaba) si ay u arkaaan camalkooda.
- 99:7
فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًۭا يَرَهُۥ
Famaiy ya'mal mithqala zarratin khai raiy-yarah
Ruuxiise wax yaroo khayra fala wuu arki.
- 99:8
وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ شَرًّۭا يَرَهُۥ
Wa maiy-y'amal mithqala zarratin sharraiy-yarah
Kiise wax yar oo shar fala wuu arki.
About Surah Az-Zalzalah
Az-Zalzalah, the Earthquake, describes the violent shaking of the earth on the Last Day, when it pours out its burdens and tells its news. It then gives one of the most quoted lines in the Quran: whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
