- 99:1
إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا
Izaa zul zilatil ardu zil zaalaha
Kada se Zemlja najžešćim potresom svojim potrese
- 99:2
وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا
Wa akh rajatil ardu athqaalaha
i kada Zemlja izbaci terete svoje,
- 99:3
وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا
Wa qaalal insaanu ma laha
i čovjek uzvikne: "Šta joj je?!" –
- 99:4
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا
Yawmaa izin tuhad dithu akhbaaraha
toga Dana će ona vijesti svoje kazivati
- 99:5
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا
Bi-anna rabbaka awhaa laha
jer će joj Gospodar tvoj narediti.
- 99:6
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًۭا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
Yawma iziy yas durun naasu ash tatal liyuraw a'maalahum
Tog Dana će se ljudi odvojeno pojaviti da im se pokažu djela njihova;
- 99:7
فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًۭا يَرَهُۥ
Famaiy ya'mal mithqala zarratin khai raiy-yarah
onaj ko bude uradio koliko trun dobra – vidjeće ga,
- 99:8
وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ شَرًّۭا يَرَهُۥ
Wa maiy-y'amal mithqala zarratin sharraiy-yarah
a onaj ko bude uradio koliko trun zla – vidjeće ga.
About Surah Az-Zalzalah
Az-Zalzalah, the Earthquake, describes the violent shaking of the earth on the Last Day, when it pours out its burdens and tells its news. It then gives one of the most quoted lines in the Quran: whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
