    1. 104:1

      وَيْلٌۭ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍۢ لُّمَزَةٍ

      Wai lul-li kulli hu mazatil-lumaza

      واى بر هر بدگوى عيبجويى،

    2. 104:2

      ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًۭا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ

      Al-lazi jama'a maalaw wa'addadah

      كه مالى گرد آورد و برشمردش.

    3. 104:3

      يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ

      Yahsabu anna maalahu akhladah

      پندارد كه مالش او را جاويد كرده،

    4. 104:4

      كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ

      Kalla layum ba zanna fil hutamah

      ولى نه! قطعاً در آتش خردكننده فرو افكنده خواهد شد.

    5. 104:5

      وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ

      Wa maa adraaka mal-hutamah

      و تو چه دانى كه آن آتش خردكننده چيست؟

    6. 104:6

      نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ

      Narul laahil-mooqada

      آتش افروخته خدا[يى‌] است.

    7. 104:7

      ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ

      Al latee tat tali'u 'alalafidah

      [آتشى‌] كه به دلها مى‌رسد.

    8. 104:8

      إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌۭ

      Innaha 'alaihim moosada

      آنان را در ميان فرامى‌گيرد.

    9. 104:9

      فِى عَمَدٍۢ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ

      Fee 'amadim-mu mad dadah

      [آتشى كه‌] در ستونهايى دراز است.
