- 103:1
Wal' asr
Innal insaana lafee khusr
Il lal lazeena aamanu wa 'amilus saali haati wa tawa saw bil haqqi wa tawa saw bis sabr
About Surah Al-'Asr
Al-'Asr, the Declining Day, is one of the shortest surahs yet holds a complete message about success. It swears by time itself and declares that humanity is in loss, except those who believe, do good, and encourage one another to truth and to patience. Scholars said that if people reflected on this surah alone, it would be enough to guide them.
Themes: The value of time, Humanity in loss, Faith and good deeds, Truth and patience
