About Surah Al-Ikhlas
Al-Ikhlas, the Sincerity, is a short surah that captures the essence of belief in Allah. It declares that Allah is One, the Eternal Refuge, who does not give birth and was not born, and that there is nothing comparable to Him. In four verses it answers the question of who Allah is, free of any partner or likeness.
Virtues of Surah Al-Ikhlas
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that Surah Al-Ikhlas equals a third of the Quran.
Sahih al-Bukhari
He told a man who loved this surah that his love for it would lead him into Paradise.
