قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
Qul huwal laahu ahad
Sema: Yeye Mwenyezi Mungu ni wa pekee.

ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
Allah hus-samad
Mwenyezi Mungu Mkusudiwa.

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
Lam yalid wa lam yoolad
Hakuzaa wala hakuzaliwa.

وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ
Wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ahad
Wala hana anaye fanana naye hata mmoja.
About Surah Al-Ikhlas
Al-Ikhlas, the Sincerity, is a short surah that captures the essence of belief in Allah. It declares that Allah is One, the Eternal Refuge, who does not give birth and was not born, and that there is nothing comparable to Him. In four verses it answers the question of who Allah is, free of any partner or likeness.
